Hi, I just recently joined back EQ2, and see that they have AAs now. I am 60, and while I don't have any AAs, I am trying to figure out what exactly  I need.I most play in a single group,  and also a little solo, but not much. I never tank. I aim for huge dps and style, without getting myself killed.I love dual wielding to. Also my stat importance is usually  STR then AGI/STAM, then whatever. The group I am in consists of   coercer, bruiser,  shadowknight, and myself. We then pick up a healer. The Rogue AAs are All so good. I am having a really tough time deciding. The STR tree looks really sweet with the STR bonus, increase crit chance, and longer resuse timer for target. The AGI tree looks alright. Walk the plank seems decent for solo, dont think I would use it much for groups.  Avast YE looks amazing though... Sucks havin to spend a bunch of points on useless things for one sweet ability.Stam tree looks useless for me.Wis looks kinda useless since I dual weild.INT tree also has a bunch of sweet things in it. A bunch of awesome hate reduction tools,  and a feign death  which is awesome in both groups and solo.So I am pretty sure I am going to do STR line. But I am pretty torn between AGI and INT tree. As for the swashy tree. I have no idea what I want to take. I am pretty sure I am going to spend my first 50 points in the Rogue tree, maybe Ill figure out the swashy tree later. But taking a quick look over it looks like the debuff and style trees look pretty good.

Hmm I see your point... I forgot they took off proccing in off hand. I think they disabled that a week before I quit, because it always used to.I don't have a good 1 hander yet, which I think I would need one for it to be viable. Once I get a good one I will probably go WIS.I guess I don't really take hate very often... Specially with the coercer hate buff as well as the swashys. I would really love the FD though...But I think I may end up going the STR/AGI root for now.And now that I think about it I can see the benefits of walk the plank. If tank is getting low on HP it can give the healer a bit extra time. Thanks again

<p>Keep your eyes open for Dark Linger. To me it's one of the best one handed weapons on the broker and I got it for 40 gold. Go me! (35-103 dmg, 2.0 sec delay, and it procs a lifetap for a sizeable chunk of hp. It keeps my health at 90% in Loping Plains no probs.)</p><p>You cant use it at 60, but at 64 its a must have IMO. Thought I would mention that, since you said you prefer grouping. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src=" width="15" height="15" /></p>

Wow, that does look like an amazing weapon. Just bought one for 50G!One other question I have.. Can Avast ye proc off of double attack? cause if so... a WIS/AGI Build would sound pretty good to..Not to mention I would love to have the Pirate title

they recently patched it so that the 2nd attack of a double attack won't proc.

<p>Rogue Tree:</p><p>STR & WIS</p><p>Swashbuckler Tree:</p><p>Style & Reach</p><p>been the best set up i have found for grouping and raiding, and while it might not be the BEST for soloing, I still take down heroics by myself without too many problems.</p>

Your main hand will proc your offhand weapon though I am pretty sure.

<p>Now does Wis line only come into its own if you can obtain absolute top end 1H?  Where would the soulfire fall in this assessment?  Can you realize the Wis line with the soulfire?</p><p>Though what I don't quite understand, wouldn't the Wis line scale less than the Agi?  As the items go up, you've got to give up more and more stats when sacrificing that off hand. </p><p>And you don't get the benefits of Lunge Reversal unless you're the mobs target.  Does the full strength of the Wis line come from Freehand Reversal and Unecumberence alone?</p><p>Laer</p>
