What is EQ2 doing to us necros... They are killing the necro class. We need to come together and get transfer mana back from eq1. Necro are out dps and our lifeburn is being nutered...... HELP US EQ2 !!!!

<p>Jagone said it all, my favourite class, and will always be, since Diablo 2, Necro, but after making an Illusionist and finishing Heroic quests so easy soloing with that guy, i can tell u, BEST soloing class is an Illusionist 100% <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src=" width="15" height="15" />, i have a 70 SK, and i can play him well, and soloed a ton with him, but not nearly as close as an Illusionist.</p><p>Oh, and plz stop the 'SOE is nerfing Necros to death', someone else made a topic about it, and i already pointed out a lot of stuff proving that Necros r NOT nerfed, on the other hand, they ARE overpowered way too much (again, i LOVE my class, but it's overpowered, so stop whining).</p>

<p>the original post was about necro dps being nerfd..  dont konw why the illusionist soloing abilitys came into play?   long story short who cares go discuss your illu on the illu forum..   yes necros are taking a beating right now ..  but it's well deserved  i belive life burn was way over powerd and too many lame [Removed for Content] did too good of dps with it..   i can only hope that soe gives us something that isint so easy to expliot in T8 (crosses fingers)    i would have taken focused casting AA(conj & warlock) over lifeburn in a heart beat.</p>

PoP was about the last time they were really strong (aside from the Tipt instance in GoD expansion). Things have been getting better tho. Supposedly next expansion supposed to be great for enc's. We'll see!</p><p> Anyways, back on topic. I play 75 Enc (main), 75 necro and 75 druid alts on EQ1. EQ2 70 necro (main), 70 fury alt, and have a few other low level alts. Just started an Illusionist. Fury seems alot more powerful than the eq1 druid. I will agree with Jagone and the necro class remains fairly unchanged. (Miss the levant spell <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ) Even after the lifeburn adjustment, my necro still does good dps. I haven't noticed much difference really. And as for the one wanting transfer mana back, I say it's best as a forgotten spell, heh. The group mana taps were fine, but I definitely don't miss the constant mana "twitch." </p>
