Beginning Transmuting Help

<p>Hi all, </p><p> I decided to try out this transmuting crafting.  I have been to the trainer, got my abilities, put them in my hotbar, bought the first recipe, and I have read through all the FAQ's and Guides in the Sticky.  Now I am still stuck on how to destroy something that is treasured+ to turn it into usalble crafting material.  I bought a lvl 7 treasured belt and now how can I distroy it to get the material.. or do I need a lvl 10+ item to distroy.</p><p>Sorry if this is such a newbie question but I am still stuck on stupid with this transmuting thing.</p><p> Thanks..</p><p> odo</p>

To convert Skill to levels, divide Skill by 5 and round down. </p><p>Since you say you are just begining but don't mention your skill level .. I'm going to have to assume that you are skill 1.   Which means you need items from lvl 1-5, to advance your skill points. </p><p> This is where it's good to either have an alt on the newbie isle to farm names or to harvest rares.  T1 Spell Rares (copper/lapis/solidfied loam).  Turn them into lvl 1 spells and transmute till you reach 100 skill .. where upon .. you must MAKE Transmuter Adorns (at the workstation) .. which means you should keep that alt on the newbie isle and continue to farm .. basically till you reach max skill or your brain starts to bleed ..which ever comes first ..  </p><p>enjoy!</p><p>In case you were being literal:  How to Transmute.  Press K and in your abilities section there will be a blue flame icon for Transmute .. Click that and target the item you wish to destroy .. </p>
