UI Mod to Display Ward Damage Remaining

<p>Hi all!</p><p>I'm just curious if anyone knows of, well, what the subject says - a nice UI mod that will display the amount of ward damage remaining?  I found some decent mods that have timers and such, but that's not nearly as useful (IMO) as the above.  Also, I'm not looking for a UI overhaul - just that one piece.</p><p>Thanks <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

Its been asked for many times, but it looks like at the current time no one has been able to do it.  Or if they have, they aren't sharing.

Well, I did some more digging and was even working with UIBuilder to make my own mod.  I saw on the Developer forums over at EQ2Interface, though, a link to a post noting the DynamicData isn't in place yet for modders to use.  It's supposedly coming in GU39 though, so I expect we'll have this soon!

A UI like this really isn't a top priority. Most of the mystics and defilers I've talked to would agree that eventually you get used to knowing when and when not to cast your wards. Just give it a little more time and I'm sure you'll come to the same conclusion.

You may be right, but I can't see having the numbers there hurting!  I'm a big fan of Ostheus's Maintained Spells mod, which isn't a huge change, it simply adds spell duration onto the icon.  Simple, effective, and doesn't clutter the default interface much (which I think is well done).

Ya, been waiting on this one for years. Not really needed, but would be nice to have upon occasion... mostly in groups.

Profit UI has one, but you have to hover over the actual spell icon on the "spells that have been cast" list. Once you do hover, you can watch the damage remaining decline instantly. It's very useful for me.

Just hover your mouse over the ward icon in the standard UI and it will show you the amount of damage left.What would be nice is if that value was displayed over the ward icon (or maybe inside it?)

Aye, you can, but if it can be done by hovering over the icon, then it shouldn't be too hard (well "too hard" for anyone who know anything about moding UIs) for someone to make the UI in question. Maybe not many shamans in the UI modding world?
