View Full Version : Some pala AA questions
Hia all,First , sry for my english I have now 37 AA, spend in INT 448, STA 448 and STR 41, i will go INT 4488 for heal crit, STA 448 and STR 45 line, but i am not sure if the 8 points in heal crit waisted points (i test it and get only 100 hp more heal, for 8 AA a bit low at leve 37). I dont know whats better for group and solo play , AGI STA INT 448 for max dps or STR 44, STA 448 INT 4488 for a bit haste + heal crit for more solo and group play (Eof i go the wrath+ hero line). Thanks for a any tipsregardsAkumo

As for solo.. kill quicker = less healing needed..

Unless u play role as healer very often I dont see any reasons as to pick the heal crit AA.

well im planning to go (as many others i think) INT: 4-4-8 (a no-brainer really)STR: 4-4-8 (haste wont hurt) OR AGI 4-4-8 (AoE melee dmg)no decided yet which route im taking... STA 4-4-8 (melee crits are ok too and the AoE knockback)since i also think that the heal crit AA is not really a viable option. Too shabby gain for 8 points.++Xan

don't worry about the heal crits, they are rather trivial really and once you really hit end game, you won't be healing as much anyways.

Might I recommend and go on the record as saying

AGI/STA/INT 448

Period. Avoid any AA that has to do with healing, whether that be in KoS or EoF lines.

Probably good advice... you are a fine second-class healer without the little bumps from any AA healing line and your AAs are probably well spent on other stuff. I like to put at least 5 in my ward simply because it's one of the most used buttons on my hotbar no matter what I'm doing but, I'm a bit of an oddball anyone here will tell you that. ;p

Thank goodness for respecs... I've toyed around with dozens of configs now and am happy with nearly everything I've tried depending on what I'm trying to accomplish.

What about Divine Aura, seems this has come in handy so often while OT or even MT for my raids/groups/solo adventures. I passed up on the agl and went full sta line with 448 in INT. Hero and Wrath of course.

I specc'ed the same as Steel: full AGI/STA, Hero & Wraths. It's a fairly defensive build; good if you end up MT'ing EoF raid mobs. You will definately be lower on the parses than Virutis' AGI/STA/INT 4-4-8 spec, but to really make that spec shine you should have nice weapon (Avatar class or Sword of Destiny reward) and a butt-load of proc gear. I'm going to give Virutis' spec a try when I get some better armor and my Soulfire Gladius, but for now I'm using the full AGI/STA (with Divine Aura) to good effect. Of course, in a few weeks Sony might totally up-end us with their new AA system. Anyone seen it on Test yet?

Is there any support for using the STA/WIS vs AGI/STA?I run with a warlock so maintaining aggro usually isn't difficult with amends, and the +2% to all heals/wards/spell damage/etc as well as the nice regen bonus and cap increase and the +30ish to all spell/combat skills seems to help my entire group's hit % and well as my hits landing on yellow heroics, makes a big difference especially when I'm in defensive stance.I was originally running agi/int/sta 448 but I was just trying to optimize the group setup.

Normally Paladin + Warlock + Fury + Conjuror...so every other member benefits from the +2% bonus.

Don't have my AA's maxed yet...currently have Wis line completed + the shield block bonus. Considering swapping to STA line for more HPs + DA as well as continuing with the shield block AA.
