I'm not sure why but I'm having to turn down my graphics settings since GU38 and not sure if it's due to more people coming back or what. Especially QH. Anyone else?

QH has been bad and EL docks. I think both are for the obvious reason of more players being there for the quests. QH is really bad since we have all the new Sarnak rumor quest NPCs, the ship expedition NPCs and all the chatter that they spew anytime somone walks near them. Spam city!

QH has been horrible for me... I mean, QH is always laggy for my four year old computer but the other night (night after GU38 ) I was down to 2 fps. Yuck.

NQ has become quite difficult for me to navigate too, eating up my FPS.

Someone else posted about it in the tech form here, so I guess it's laggy for a few of us.

Right now it's as bad as it was before the rendering changes went in.

The other spot I've noticed a problem with is Sinking Sands around the entrance/big snake-headed dock thingy...LOTS of lag there upon zone-in.

Yes I have worse lag now than last week, essentially anytime I am in an area with other players.

Yes, in QH, EFP, Neriak, SS Docks, & other places where lots of players hang out.

Yes and hunting in an instance with just me and a friend has been like watching a slide show. Even turning on my raid settings, I was still lagging really harshly.

Heck, I reset my network connections and checked my computer for nasties...I'm glad that I'm not the only one seeing a substantial increase in lag. Maybe someone in power will read this note and do something about it.

Might have to do with having to load the physical appearance of one set of armor/clothing, and the stats of another. I've noticed it too, in zones that weren't all that populated.

QH on crushbone has been running 50-60 people in it when before GU 38 there were around 20-30 most of the time, that on top of some of the alt appearance stuff probably slows things a bit, I dont' notice any slow down on my 8800 gts.

Yes, lag has been horrible for over a week now. I don't think the appearance tab etc did it tho. Who knows tho, anything is possible, I am a bit biased tho, i love it, the new appearance option not the lag I really hope they do something about it tho, my poor computer almost cant handle it, even with EVERYTHING turned off, blob mode etc. Being in a top guild performance and skill are everything, I simply hate not being able to perform my best due to lag. for example a spell taking 4.63 seconds to cast normal is around 7 to 9 seconds for me. Depending on the lag that day it sometimes gets down to 6 - 7 but either way is ridiculous.
