<p>I have a 70 SK and I've been having issues keeping my DPS around 1k during raids. What spell order do u top SK's use for that high DPS I can never seem to get, yet I hear u all talking about?</p>

If your raids just lack... and your sitting around 11k raidwide... then you won't be able to keep your DPS up.If everyone else in the raid is horrible, then the long fights will make your DPS seem even lower.

Raids aren't horrible. There actually very good .. My DPS is just stuck around 600-800 and can't seem to get over that hump and start doing 1k+. I have good weapons and armor, I just think my spell order is lacking, and looking for a little advice.

Are you being buffed melee or spells? What group are you in?Having the troub + enchanter spell proc can make things fun.And if the enchanter won't put the proc on you, tell them you have a 70% spell crit rate and 700int, it's more worthwhile to put it on you =P

They usually keep me in our caster group. We use 5 fighters, (Guardian, Berserker, Monk, Bruiser, SK). If were short a fighter then I get moved into a melee group.

What AA build are you using?

<p>600-800? Are you not using the 4-4-8 INT spec for the spell crits? I haven't been parsed in a while and haven't ever taken my sk on a raid yet to see how she now parses, but I was parsing regularly at 750-800 while tanking at level 53 in the Hidden Cache. Me, a warden, a defiler, and 2 rangers. The 2 rangers were a bit ticked becuz they'd usually get 300-350 each, so I was worht more by myself than the 2 of them. . . that was fun <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> This was right after I'd respec'd to the INT build, and after seeing those parses, I swore I'd never lose the INT line again.</p>

Please post a screenshot of an ACT breakdown of one of your raid ZWs.

It all depends on groups, mobs, etc. Fact is, heroic content = paper mobs. And the only reason you see lower parses in Heroic content sometimes is because the mobs don't last long enough. I can show you parses of my toon as low as 1k and as high as 5k, it's all situational.

If you're in a high DPS raid pulling 25k DPS... then your DPS will seem good.If you're in a raid with low DPS doing 10K... then the long fights will make your DPS suffer.

I know everyone can oneshot a grey sider in Longeshadow alley for infinte dps.</p>

Like I said, mobs don't last long enough. And I don't know why you're rolling your eyes at 2-3k ZW because it's entirely plausible and happens all the time.

<p>I tend to do pretty well in raids... outside of fixing your AA, masters, "good" gear, what are your STR, INT, WIS at? Mine during a raid (I don't raid much, but when I do, I tend to be in the top 10 when they list the parse) are around 650STR, 700INT, and around 300 WIS.</p><p>As far as the OPs question about spell order:</p><p>as DPS:</p><p>Once MT has target,</p><p>Despoil, Sacrilege, Abominable Wrath, Legionnaire's Smite, Siphon Str, Death Circle* (if more then 1 mob), Unending Misery*(if more then 1 mob), Tap Veins*(if more then 1 mob, Swift Attack. </p><p>*replaced by Abominable Anger, Fetid Smite, Drain Vitae if single mobs.</p><p>Abominable Wrath and Legionnaire's Smite I normally hit back to back, especially after Sacrilege to debuff them.</p><p>Also, Heroic Opportunities help add a bit more... just wait the extra moment for others to tag along on it before continuing the HO.</p><p>Also... I'm sure you know... Masters help ALOT! Make sure your 2h has a decent 2.5+ sec time delay, and a low min-HIGH max damage. Also, take a second to figure out the time of your swings so you don't interrupt your auto attack by casting a spell.</p>

You forgot just about all our DoTs. DoTs come before DD any day, and stuff like Tap Veins, Abominable Wrath, Abominable Anger etc. should be cast after Dispatch is called tbh.

if its in a raid and you're having trouble landing spells (resists) then try throwing out your wis debuff CA. I also like to throw out putrid coil right after the sacrileage(for the debuff) then I go misery etc etc. I like to get the dots in asap. if its going to be a fight where i'm going to burn all my spells and wait on recast I try to get the pet out asap aswellalso, our taunt DoT is also a good way to sneak in some damage. It also will help keep you higher on the hate list in case you need to off tank in the event your MT goes down.

An SK should always be using Sacrilege/Insidious Promise whenever it's up, Shield Bash too if you have a shield equipped but I'm always using a 2H. Most of the debuffs that allow you to land spells on the mob will come from the Brigand, Defiler and Sacrilege. Our WIS debuff really sucks against an epic mob.
