Has anyone ever used this 'skill' (not counting by mistake) ?Maybe Im not fully understanding what it does from the description, but to me it must be the most useless thing we got.

I throw it up on tough fights and if it fires off I have about 50 seconds or so to prepare someone in the raid/group to take over tanking. If you do not get killed and the spell doesn't fire you don't die anyway. So I am not sure why they made it a toggle skill, unless they made it so that it kills you even if it doesn't fire in this last update, which would be stupid.

Yes, I've used it several times and it can be useful.

The weakness of it before was that you had to see the death coming for it to be useful and it had a 30min recast whether you died or not. With it being a toggle, it stays up all the time until you die. In order to get full benefit from it, you have to coordinate it with the raid force.

It's the best spell in the game and there are no penalties associated with it if you are not dumb.

Does it no longer kill you? or is the death caused by it now mitigatable with a priest death save before it triggers death?

I have used it successfully once when soloing to survive long enough to finish off a named I needed for a quest.
