Hi,

My Effects Window seems to be limited in number of effects it displays, if i get over a certain number the lowest on the list disappear, even if i resize it to be 2 lines or 3, still a certain number of effects appear, tried different positions on the screen too, didn't fix it.

I'm not using any custom UI.

Thanks.

The window will show a maximum of 30 effects no matter what you do.

I just rechecked, indeed, they're a max of 30 always, thanks for the info .

This is part of the reason why many of us have been asking for them to not duplicate icons between the Maintain and Effects window. If I cast a buff and it shows in my Maintained window then that should be enough. Since I cast the buff I should know who it's on so I don't need a duplicate icon in the Effects window telling me it's on me. Besides the fact that I could just mouse over the Maintained icon to see who the target is. Removing these duplicate icons would allow the 30 cap to not be so limiting. Many of us also believe that the Effects icons such as Food, Drink, Spirit of the Wolf, etc should be in the Maintained window instead of the Effects window since we have to Maintain those effects. Again, if I cast Spirit of the Wolf all I really need to know is whether or not I'm still maintaining that effect and not so much that the effect is on me per say. This would also go a long way towards helping to reduce the limitations of the 30 icon cap.If anyone else feels that the above makes sense please take a moment to /feedback these ideas while in-game. Thank you kindly.

Even better Fringe ... y limit it to 30 in the first place, i don't see the technical issue that might arise from it being 50 or even 100!

Way back when there was a post by a dev that stated a very technical reason for the limitation but I honestly can't remember what it was.Having said that, I would still prefer the windows to act like they should where anything Maintained is in the Maintained window. Primarily since I don't keep my Effects window visable except on mouseover, which means that I sometimes miss buffs that I need to Maintain as they expire without me knowing.I would also like to see the windows more aptly named as well. There are more than just Spell Effects and Maintained Spells in each window. There are items such as Food and Drink and Combat Arts that are clearly not Spells. A simple Maintained and Effects window would do the trick.
