They should come up with some new form of beam me up scotty transportation device to place in ur home that will zone you to any zone but this item should1. Either be uber rare drop from t7 mobs2. Be really expenisive and/or cost lots of status pointsO ya

Indeed, it's called a druid. Anyway, not a bad idea for a couple predetermined zones. Something equivalent to the furniture item carpet that zones you to SC, but for KoS instead. That would be nice. Truthfully, I'd be happy if they kept up with the port system for wizzy/locks and druids with RoK. They should still have a port of some kind for a furniture item, depending on ease of accessibility.

Pretty sure RoK will have something like this for one of its zones like the flower for EoF.

The flower for EoF was an item only a small percentage of the people can obtain. I was referring more to group content at the highest.

I am sure anyone can get teh flower to Gafy if they want it bad enough and are willing to spend teh plat for it, I woudl also bet that any raid guild would sell the flower to soemone interested in buying one. I am not the leader of my guild but I would say with about 90% accuracy that if soem one offered 25 plat for the flower they woudl get one. So it is atainable by any guild that wants it for thier members.

Most people that played the game called it the worst idea ever. It trivialized getting around the world, made some zones vacant and overall just made for a really bad experience. If we learn from prior mistakes... how about we keep transportation around norath the way it is now?

There are times when I wish that I had a teleporter to let me skip zones that are gray to me or to take me to a place near where I've been hunting recently. Back in EQ1, if I remember correctly, we had a bind point that we could set anywhere in the world. When I was doing Unrest, I'd bind near the zone line on the Cauldron side. I once tried to have it on the Unrest side but too many times there were mobs hanging out there. I'd like something like that feature in EQ2.

Heck, if they'd give it to us, I'd ask for dual bind points that can be individually set. We'd be able to teleport between them with or without a reuse timer. The default location for both would be at our starting location when the alt was first born into the world. Then as we explore the world, we could set both bind points anywhere we desire out in the world. I'd keep one at the bank and the other one near the area where I was hunting. My mage alts get overloaded easily and can use a quick trip to the bank and back.

This feature can be the result of a quest, or granted automatically as our Call of our city is now. How does everyone feel about this idea?

I like dual bind points better than easy-port items easily available.

The world is already small enough as it is. I really don't want to see the game dumbed down even more.
