Domino -

Would it be at all possible for us to have a new house item, either crafted or purchased, that can be used to store our extra outfits? Each new outfit can take up to 8 slots of storage, and most items have to be attuned so can't be passed off to alts to hold, and with the house item limit I have so many no trade items in storage I'm about out of room in vault/bank/broker already. Could we have a "wardrobe" or "armoire" that functions as storage. You could even have tiers of storage like the broker items with more slots for higher tiers.

The suggestion sounds good. I would like to make one alteration. Make it so the item is tied to a character. That way those of us that do not use our own home can place the Closet/Wardrobe/Armoire in a home where we are a trustee.

Agree 100%. We have been needing additional storage options for a long time now. I like the idea of a wardrobe box or a mannequin. Wondering is a mannequin couldnt be constructed to work the same was as the dressing room and be slotted like the appearance tab (be awesome if it used the same code actually)

Item would be a clickable mannequin. As items are placed into the "appearance" slots, the mannequin starts to reflect the appearance of those items (kinda like a suit of armor or store front display). When someone other than the owner clicks the item they get the dressing room window popup with them displayed in that outfit.

Take it to the next level by adding this functionality - SWAP CLOTHES which would allow you to choose a mannequin in your house, select swap clothes and it takes everything off the mannequin and equips it in your appropriate Appearance Slots and everything in your Appearance Slots and places them on the Mannequin.

That would add several benefits all the way around. Would be interesting as a way of sharing different looks as well for visitors to our homes.

There are my thoughs on the matter..again....

Mystfit wrote:
Coudn't you use a salesman crate? My idea. Two items Both T-8 One wardrobe that uses a T- rare wood and rare ore. Carpenter made. Has a 16 slot jewelry slot for that fancy stuff and a 32 slot clothes portion.Second item would be a Mannequin that uses a rare pelt and a rare gem T-8, tailor made. This could hold different outfits. Just my 2 cents. But i honestly think that this type of thing should not be cheep and should use rares and high level crafters in thier use.

I'm not worried about it being high tier - I'm a level 70 fury/70 carpenter. However, I'm looking for something that bypasses the vault/broker completely. The idea is to add MORE storage. As I said above, all my vault/bank/broker boxes are already full of no-trade quest rewards/trophies, attuned gear, and crafting materials, so I'm just looking for a way to store all the extra attuned gear.

Mystfit wrote:
Coudn't you use a salesman crate? THe one from armor and jsut not use it for selling?
This won't work for no-trade/attuned items as you can't put them in broker boxes.

Storage slots - 8 in my bank, 4 in the shared bank (ok I know you can't put attuned or not trade stuff in there, but these could be used for the tradeable stuff that I have) 2-5 house vault slots and 6 places to carry containers on my person. If you use rosewood boxes (32 slot) in all of these slots that gives you 256 in bank, 128 in shared bank 192 on your person and 64-160 in your house vault for a grand total of 736 items you can have in storage (828 if you use ebony boxes in all). As someone suggested as well you can use the salesman crates for items that are not attuned such as raw materials for tradskilling and such, just price them really high and you run no risk of them being bought.

I am a pack rat (in game and in real life) so I find that as much storage as I have, I end up using, I don't like to throw stuff away, so I end up keeping it, and yes I probably do have somewhere near the 600 or so items in my mains inventory at any given time. But my question would basically be How many items should we have the ability to store? The appearance tab did give us the ability to ‘store' and extra change of clothes without using any inventory slots as it is.
