I was happy to finally get my monk out of her Blood Hide Adept Gi and get her some real leather armor. I love the stats on the Blood Hide armor but my monk prefers to go to battle with more clothes on. <img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/97ada74b88049a6d50a6ed40898a03d7.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

Bare-foot, with noob gear, and the halloween arrow mask. But only for 'dress up' occasions. For every day, I plan on adding a pair of as yet unidentified outlandish shoes/boots to my ensemble.

For my Warden, I don't care much but maybe something nice and matched up, just the handcrafted gear will do for when on my horse (which is not often). For my low level Necro I MUST get something that is not white and the frantic search for something, anythingthat stops him looking like some holy pilgrim will begin as soon as I log him again !

hmm for your SK i saw one today that might be pretty nice for an SK while i was an city merchant tour to get something with nice look <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Freeport Miltia sells a black armor of them (plate) that looks very nice. But if i remember right you need 20k or 30k faction standing with them to buy it.

<p>My conjuror was parading around last night and this morning in the Ceremonial Armor from Bloodlines completion (nice shiny plate) and the Ceremonial Knight Armor from Qeynos Fighter Faction. Also was glad to see the new Bristlebane cloak is a long flowing one and not a shorty like the Cloak of thr Burning Prince from Ro Deity.</p><p>Opted to continue wearing the Bloodlines set as it looks nicer - read here - gear that cost 1g20s and a quest line should not look 10 times better than gear which requires +30,000 faction with the fighter guild and cost 35,000 Status + 50g on average per piece. /shrug</p>

Marr Ceremonial Armor from Bloodlines, or perhaps my old AQ stuff and a mask from one of the Halloweens. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />
<p>I put my dirge in the Awakened Scaleguard chain - it's got a nice dusky purple tone to it that matches her skintone well (she's a dark elf). I couldn't find the bracers for it, so I bought a pair that don't have an appearance to wear over my normal ones.</p><p>My two Inquisitors are both wearing the luminous plate from the Freeport city merchant. The silver with gold embellishments look nice with their gold-trimmed black cloaks. I also bought them each a set of the npc ebon plate for a more sinister look, as well as Barrister Robes.</p><p>My Coercer is in her lvl37 DFC armor, so not going to worry about her as that armor looks fab. My wizard is going to be tough - only lvl18 and not many nice robes at that low level yet.</p><p>My 70 Defiler is going to wear a Barrister's Robe over her outfit. With her Ancient Draconic Manslayer on her back, she looks a bit like the specter of death, lol.</p><p>My warden and Fury are presenting a challenge. I've been trying to find certain pieces here and there but am coming up short.</p>

<p>Did that with my Paladin. That brightest stuff going for the full-on la-de-dah poncey paladin look. The other suit off the city merchant had a nice chromium effect going on, was a tad darker, but seemed to lose definition and be a bit blobby. </p><p>My zerker's slapped on his level 20's class armour for now. Gonna be looking at various red, bronze and black armours, chain, leather and plate. Rough looking and suitably <i>rawr</i>.</p><p>My high elf monk's gonna be mincing about in white. Goes with his hair. Still working out a couple of peices. It's the shirt that's proving tricksy. I want one that looks like a monk, rather than sport a gi that looks like an S&M afficionado (<i>which he is, but not outside</i>).</p><p>The brigand, I suspect is gonna be the most involved and will be leaving his makeover till last. Am after mostly leather, fluffy cloth sleeves (<i>which I ain't sure exist</i>), and possibly a more robust chain breastplate. All wrapped up elegantly. </p><p>Might be an idea to consider having a look at tweaking the graphics of the old level 20 class armour, and adding an extra quest to bestow a hat, now it could have some longevity. Bringing it somewhat inline with the look of KoS/Eof class sets. It's a bit of shame to have to wait sooo many levels before getting a nifty hat. </p>
<p>Are there any armors that show up as nothing?? Or a way to make it so a piece just does not show..</p><p>Besides for that I am going to just make myself look as ridiculous as possible.. probably one of those wierd crafted clothings</p>

One that I use for the bare arms look is Pristine tailored burlap shawl. It's level 10 and probably would cost you a few silver on the broker. I know there are other slots with similar items but I can't tell you which ones as I haven't really looked. I threw a suit of Cobalt on my Guardian. Not sure what my Swash is going to wear yet. Something with pirate boots though. On a side note...I didn't use the plate city merchant stuff because anyone who has their complex shaders all the way off for performance reasons(Options>Performance>Complex Shaders) will only see sort of matte white armor. It isn't all shiny and fancy looking. It actually looks like the art work is not completed on it. At least on the non-soga character models.

For my 59 dark elf brigand I gave her a mist grinnin breastplate and legs --nice purplish-blue color like her skin, and the BP has a skullish face on it, it's pretty neat. They also have neat studs on them making it look very rustic. I gave her verdant boots, (they are black) and black gloves I forgot the name and invisible arms and mist grinnin wrists, and with her black guild cloak the look is awesome.. I also bought a few robes to change things up a bit, tundra walkers is a nice cobalt blue color, liandrins oracle, and a white and black player made one. Going to shop around more but the nice robes are REALLY expensive now .. barristers is at least 4pp=( bloodstained etc.. very pricey..I also bought some things for higher levels, I bought some black silk before the price went way up,( the legs and arms), I don't like the chest piece it looks too bulky so I bought a chain feyiron BP , or, a black iron chain (the ONLY pure black shirt I could find) that matches nicely. plus my black boots and gloves and that will be a sweet look later on.. I also like heavy wool leather armor but can't find most of the pieces for sale anymore=(If I had known ahead of time u could wear any thing your class could wear I would have done my shopping sooner!

And it is not the fault of the people who are dressing up as those clones, either. It is SOE that is to blame.Face it...the amount of clothing and armor that actually looks good, while much larger than it was at launch, is still quite limited. Some of the best gear (stat-wise and so forth) looks like steaming piles of doggie poo, regardless of diversity in look.I have to laugh at the number of bruisers and monks who are wearing their newbie gear in their appearance slot. Or rather, I have to laugh at SOE for making it so that most mid-range armor options do not reflect a bruiser or monk style, thus making the option of pulling the newbie gear back on for appearance's sake quite appealing. I did it with my bruiser, and I have no regrets. The <strike>Island of Refuge</strike> Outpost of the Overlord bruiser gi, while not the most appealing in terms of color, is very...well, bruiser-ish...while some of the subsequent armor options look like training outfits for clown school. On top of that, some of the armor quests (such as for the Silent Fist Initiate) have mob targets that make it difficult to obtain, at least for the very last item (gi/breastplate/robe/tunic) - and a lot of those tend to be inferior to some of the better Mastercrafted gear at equivalent levels, anyways. For myself, I make Mastercrafted gear, and when I am able to solo the armor quests, I will...then I will log in one of my son's low-level avatars on his computer during school hours (he rarely plays any more), mentor down, and turn in the quest. I will get the item in question, as well as AA experience, even if the actual XP award is laughable by that point. That is the time I will determine if the appearance factor is worth it - after the deceit, theft, and blatant disregard for the player's desires clothing-wise concerning <i>Blissful Awareness</i> (no, I will NOT stop harping on this subject), I don't think anyone has the right to be shocked if more and more people look similar, if not identical. So, yes, Guy, you are absolutely correct. But please, please do not say you are surprised.

<p>At the moment Lysari is in full cobalt plate - and I really love the way it looks on her. I imagine Lysari may stay in it even when the armour is too low a level - I'll just switch it over to her appearance tab. I do wish it wouldn't overlay her boots however, I liked having the journeyman's boots showing. She's still carrying two or three dresses with her for those less formal moments however.</p><p> Poor Ealasai, my baby warden, I haven't spent any time at all on picking out a new look for her.</p>

I'd actually been considering the black silk set for my little warlock. Now, I'm wondering if those stars and moons would fit her character.

What are they called? I gave up looking when I got my Snuffing the Fire Knight pages there but managed to get several of each of the Tunarian peices except for a shoulder slot, may have been bad luck, I can also remember a search at the time on the broker didn't yield any results. It'd be nice to complete the set/appearance.
