I realise there is a recent influx of complaints directing on SOE not doing enough, such as balancing PVP, poor customer service,non-newbie friendly, low population etc.Well, think it this way, there is always 2 sides to everything. Some might love or dislike the way a thing is run but that's life. Yes, it is good to have criticism to improve the situation but there is too much repetition in some issues so I would say just move on. If SOE thinks some things should or should not change, they have their reasons. Sony is a listed company, they won't do silly things to ruin themselves. You and I pay 15usd per month to enjoy this game, lets try to enhance each other playing experience by discussing issues rather than DEMANDING quick-fix solutions. I myself is s new players and ain't complaining much over some stuffa)PVP ganking. Well its PVP, environment tends to be nasty but there is always the original PVE to fall back to. It is not as though EQ2 revolves aound PVP and in fact EQ2 started out as PVE based.b)Low population. Most likely you are comparing to WOW? As the saying goes, there is always poorer people out there. If you seek perfection, you will only suffer. Also of course do some research on the servers' population so that you'll roll into a more populated one.-leads to difficulty in finding groups: I do have such problem too but that is where solo play or crafting comes in. This is why different features is implemented in EQ2 but seems like not many are making use of it to utilize their entertainment value.c)Poor customer service. Interesting, personally I have all my tickets answered pretty efficiently, maybe those who have bad experience is just like 1 in a 100 but by posting it publicly you make it seem like it is 1 in 2?All in all, there is reason why DEV don't come out to clarify things straight off. They are a big company, they make decisions as a collective. Many are frustrated because they feel the DEV is invisible which I believe is definitely not. And even if they do, they will spoil the market and the players even more and lead to more demands and a 'bottomless pit' situation. So I will say adapt, roll in a server or find a game that suits your liking instead of hoping something as big as Sony will adapt to you. Yes we pay to play, but Sony didn't point a gun in our heads to do that.PS: And no none of my friends or relatives is sitting in the board of Sony. I am not protecting them or whatever, it is just a fact of life.

The challenge of perfection is not one that SOE has ever taken on in force. But it's a worthy pursuit for any company looking to provide superior service. All of SOE's traditional problems carry over to EQII without exception. But being that EQII is a very good game despite these, I personally don't care. I'll leave it up to others to gripe this time - I burned myself out in that debacle SWG lol.

Youve been here for what? 3 weeks? Some complaints might have a little more judgement behind them than 3 weeks worth of experience. I agree and disagree with many things SoE does. However, forums are a place for discussion..including things that some people believe should be changed. If the forum was all one narrow-minded view it wouldnt be considered a forum. </p>
