not able to DL the patch

<p>I am having problems DLing the patch for LU 38.  I log on, the files are "analyzed", and then it says "update complete".  I wait for the "PLAY" button to appear, but all I get is the "UPDATING" button all grayed out.  Any help would be appreciated.  I have never had this happen before, and I am getting a bit frustrated. Kirstie says to contact tech support, but I have no idea how to do that.  Any help would be appreciated.</p>

Im having the same problem, its saying "download canceled" everytime I try to update it.

Me too! I played a few days ago with no problem, but it's doing exactly what the OP said above to me now.

<p>WOW  have to love the tech support from SOE.  An online customer support rep told me basically to delete my Mcafee Virus protection or the game won't run.  I have been using Mcafee since I started EQ1 in 1999 with no problems, and last night EQ2 ran fine, and all of a sudden it doesn't work?</p>

<p>HELLO TECH SUPPORT... 12 hours later, and i still can't patch.  Would someone in tech support help me figure this out?  And please do NOT tell me to delete my Mcafee virus software...that is the most rediculous piece of advice I have been given so far.  I've been playing EQ1/EQ2 since 1999, and I have never had a problem with McAfee until this AM.</p>
