11/12 patch fatal error - help please

<p>Today’s (11/12) <span> </span>patch finished updating, I logged in, the auto play engaged and right before the Character select screen a Fatal/Unrecoverable Error window pops up.The shut down window reads as follows:</p> <p><span>       </span><verify>D:/test/eq2/game/client/src/ncs2.cpp(1868)</p> <p><span>        </span>missing required window:ncs2slideshow</p> <p>Any recommendations of what I can do to get in game will be appreciated.</p>

You will either have to go back to the default UI, or check with the author of the custom UI that you are using to see if there is a update to it. There where a lot of changes to the UI in today game update

<p>Deleting the file eq2ui_newcharscene2.xml from my custom UI directory fixed the issue!</p><p> Thanks all for your help.</p>
