The Bloodlines armor appearances don't match. Half the set is Polished Parade, the other half is Luminous. With the advent of the appearance tab, I think people will be more likely to use this armor set and will be disappointed to find that the appearances don't match.

Yep, you're right. Iin preparation of today's patch I bought the polished armor last night. All pieces were less than 6 gold total and that's not bad for "dress" armor.

Then I noticed that the shoulders were not polished. I'm afraid I'll make Mr. Blackwell's list if this isn't fixed.

The evil sides armor is far worse... Leather chest and legs, "iron" shoulders, hands, and feet. It looks HORRID.And just a note, the chest and legs of the good side armor set isn't the same as the "Polished Parade" armor off the City Merchant. Polished Parade looks like Vanguard armor .

Are you suggesting this is a bug or just a personal dislike of that armor? You do realize this adventure pack (Bloodlines Chronicles) has been around for over 2 years now, and that faction 'ceremonial' armor has not changed in that time... Notice how most of the NPC's in the Brotherhood of Marr (or whatever their 'official' name is) camp (which, by the way, was added for the Bloodlines adventure pack in case you weren't around back then) are wearing the same thing and how after you gain faction by doing a few quests for them, they allow you to wear their armor as if you're one of them? Novel concept...I personally like the unique design of this armor and how since it is classified as 'cloth', it gives everybody a chance to have a sort of vanguard plate look. Sounds like you don't. Good luck in getting something that was intentionally designed/styled the way it is changed to suit your tastes...I will agree that I like the good side armor style better than the evil side but they are pretty unique in the game that is for sure...

I don't think the OP was saying they didn't like the armor. They were saying that the pieces don't match as a set.

Leatherneck wrote:

The Bloodlines armor appearances don't match. Half the set is Polished Parade, the other half is Luminous. With the advent of the appearance tab, I think people will be more likely to use this armor set and will be disappointed to find that the appearances don't match.

It has the graphics of Cuirboilli leather for the chest and legs and the old Fulginate Vanguard for the arms and feet. And as I mentioned before, they look absolutely awful together. The only unique pieces of the Marr armor are the chest and legs. The arms and feet pieces look like normal Tin Vanguard.

I second this. Being a warden, I was so excited when someone linked the BP and legs on chat channel and told me where to buy them. So I ran right over and bought the set only to find out that the beautiful white shiny armor was ONLY on the BP and legs. The rest looks like cheap flat rusty tin. Not sure why they did this but I must admit that it has always been this way. It's just that now with the appearance tab, people are more interested. Good side armor btw.

Sony, could you make it a matched set? Of the SHINY armor, please don't turn it all into dull gray

Thanks!

The armor never completely matched as a set but the other pieces did not look dull like it is now.

My character's paperdoll has a picture of the armor when she finished Bloodline over a year ago.

http://eq2players.station.sony.com/...terId=326117108

I'm not sure about the other classes, but full sets of Polished Parade plate can be bought at the City Merchants. Although it all matches, it will cost you a few status points (3000-4000 points each).

My Paladin looks like a walking mirror...

If only I could wear those! I'm a warden though and I like the bloodlines because it gives a plate look but is considered cloth. The ones on the merchants you're talking about are classified as plate. And the leather ones they carry...not anything I'd be caught leaving my acorn while wearing. Just plain...brown...ugly...leather
