Quick newbie armorsmithing question...

In order to improve the success of my armorsmithing, is it required to raise my skill in both metalshaping and metalsmithing?  If so, its kind of dumb that making armor only raises the metal shaping skill... if not, then I suck at armorsmithing =P

No, the other skill is for weaponsmiths, and it will cap itself permanently when you declare Armorer as a subclass to ding level 20.

<p>Your skills level up as you use your reaction arts while crafting. If you're not using all of your progress and durability buffs you won't skill up. By the time you select Armorer you should have 6 arts available to you. Slap em on a hotbar and spam away. You should catch up fairly quickly.</p><p>Also, there is a skill associated with weaponsmithing... not sure what it's called, but you shouldn't need to worry about it as far as I know. </p>
