Power depletion

Noob question this I am sure but having checked the spell lists I can not find an answer....do mystics have the ability to drain power?

Thank you Sekkong,,,I asked because my Fury's power was drained quite considerably when I tackled a Mystic.   I checked the combat log and, if memory serves me right, it stated that I was hit by a disease which drained power or something like that.   Certainly my power seemed to ebb away quite dramatically and I just wondered why.   Much obliged.Edit...just noticed, I think you indicated this spell was lvl 55....this Mystic was lvl 15 so not sure what happened now, hopefully someone can explain.

It could be some proc on an item of armor or weapon.
