<p>Hey thanks for any advice. I usually play on my desktop which is being repaired sometime soon.</p><p> My Dad's new laptop is ok on the specs but I guess lite on memory which i guess would be Ram probably? It wont play long in the city itself often crash in 15 mins or so. Outside in the open it can last for up to 1-2 hours before locking up.</p><p>Ive leveld a char up to 12 while trying to solve the issue but I dont know too much about finer computer tweaking or this machine itself. Read many posts and I know SOE doesnt support laptops so Im hoping for player experience whove had the same problem.</p><p>When it gives an error message which isnt always, it said one time that it went into an infinite loop once or twice.</p><p>Mostly it crashes to the desktop saying EQ2 had an unrecoverable error and had to be shut down. And further said something about the directX couldnt do something I believe, that the system ran out of memory so I'm guessing it has something to do with the RAM?
