New to EQ, I've played WoW for 3 years. First off, is it even possible to download add ons for EQ? In WoW I used an enemy cast bar add on which told me the spell my target was casting and had a cast bar below his healthbar, which I used before blizzard made their own built in version. Is there anything like this for EQ?Also I was wondering if there were any add ons, or even under options somewhere, a way that I can make my targets healthbars appear larger? I'm having difficulty seeing my targets health. What I also did was enabled under options being able to see everyone around me's healthbar at all times, which I prefer. Then came a new problem, I have difficulty telling enemy healthbars from friends. Is there a way I can make enemy healthbars always red or something? I fooled around with color options and found a way to make all healthbars always green instead of the green/red/yellow depending on health thing, but I didn't find a way to change the colors of JUST friends and JUST enemy's bars.Any help is appreciated.P.S. Is there an easier way to engage the enemy you are targeting other then ~ key? Like a single click option? Double clicking works, but it is uncomfortable and annoying to me, and it can make shifting back and forth between targets an annoyance.

You should go check out EQ2interface, they are the best source I know of for UI mods.

There is no way that I'm aware of to see what your enemy is casting other than knowledge that you've picked up while playing. You can set your target bar to show effects, that will show you the buffs the mob has which will allow you to make reasonable guesses about what they are going to cast on you (along with the spell effects you see).

As far as health bars go, I pretty much only care about the health of people in my group/raid so I never had the 'always show health bars for players' thing turned on. The group window and raid window show health and power for all members as well as negative effects that are on them. You can target them via that as well or in group by using your f keys.

I believe to have mob health in a different color would require a mod, I know of nothing that you can change in game to make that appear a different color.

Under options you can switch to single click I think. I personally mapped the auto attack key to 'x' which is in a convient place and is a letter I'm unlikely to hit when I'm chatting and automatically start beating on a guard or something lol.
