Regarding the post I made earlier, I just finished playing lord of the rings online on very high graphic settings and get a constant 60 fps in this particular game. Just wondering if it is the fact that I use a core 2 duo processor and a 8800gtx that I can't get any higher than 35 FPS on very high settings or is this the case for every user??core 2 duo 3.0ghz8800gtx vid card2 gigs ddr 2 1066 ramEnermax liberty 620w PSFatality extremegamer sound card

I don't know exactly what it is with SOE games. I have played several and although I have a decent PC, I get MUCH lower frame rates than I would expect. I play, or have played several other MMOs NOT from SOE and rarely do I experience lower than expected frame rates...Reading through other posts on this topic, many of the responses blame out of date drivers, connection speed, memory leaks, and all sorts of other giberish on why my frame rates suck. it still doesn't explain why it only seems to happen in SOE games...and not others...

What is the point in going past 25 really anyway? Other than just being a number, it is really not going to matter in this setting.

http://www.100fps.com/how_many_fram..._humans_see.htm

I don't know that this is necessarily the cause of it, but I do know in other SOE games the FR has been capped at around 30-35.
