Original thread here----> http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=364955

The last response from a CSR was on June 7th saying that a fix "would be released soon to live servers". That was after a developer's response on June 6th saying they would "get it hot-fixed in the next few days".

Since then there have been pages of documented instances of this error including screenshots, hardware configurations and what the player was doing when it occurred.

I continue to have this issue and suspect that others do too. Did I miss the fix or is Sony's definition of "soon" and "next few days" slightly different than the rest of ours?

Anyone else still having this problem?

To make a long story short, the "out of memory" error message plagues me as well. My account is 2 1/2 years old but this error message has only been occuring in the last couple of months. I called SOE support and got a little help. Now, instead of crashing with the error message every 45 minutes to an hour, I "only" crash every couple of hours. Unless, of course, I'm grouping with my guildmates in DFC.... THEN it's back to crashing every hour.

Far as I can tell, there has been no official comment from SOE regarding this issue other than the thread they started (which you linked to).

Morg

Well, this post was moved from general discussion to the "Technical Help and Questions" thread, the same thread that contains the 24 pages of posts that haven't been answered. I'm sure it will die here.

Sony, can we get an update? This issue has been on the "Top Issues" list since May and we've had no update since June.

It doesn't bother me that there's an outstanding issue. It bothers me that we were told in June it would be fixed in a few days and months later we have no update and no new news. Common courtesy would dictate an update.

Thanks.
