Warning, please help avoid the servers being slow or even crashing due to broker use when GU38 is launched if you don't help everyone out....

Have you ever seen Xmas time when a store holds an insane sale, like Toys R Us, and 6 million people show up and try to ram themselves into the store only to have police show up because of fights breaking out over who gets the last purplecow beanie baby. Well now you know what that is EXACTLY what EFP and QH are going to be like when the new appearance tabs come out. Everyone and there mother is going to be searching through the broker looking for the ultimate outfit.

The Devs might want to be ready to resolve any slow broker issues or even instance those two zones out to avoid problems. Please don't shut down the broker, it will cause riots *watches people beat each other over the last pair of stinky pirate pants*

Players, please shop NOW so you don't have to be standing there waiting for the broker to respond. If you have to wait until the last minute, PLEASE go to other brokers not just those zones. Check out the broker in a tradeskill instance, go to one of the other zones that have brokers. There are brokers in secondary zones all over the game - SFP, WFP have them for example, Neriak has one evil people can use.

Remember you can ~try on~ an item by holding down CTRL and clicking on the item once it turns into the magnifying glass icon, you don't have to buy to try. *I expect this alone to create lag due to thousands of people all clicking on items). Also, rememember, sometimes the best items are in the strangest places - For example South Freeport Vendors have armor with no stats that you can buy that has different appearances.

*moderators if you feel this would be better served in the live gameplay discussion please move it, but for now the content being referred to is only on test*

Some of us with a few tradeskill alts are making our own items. Now I just need to decide which rare leather set I like more.

Already have been. I'm pretty sure I've got them all sorted out now as I got my Swashy her armor last night. I'm grateful though that a couple of my characters will be keeping their current appearances so I did save some time and money there.

I'm currently buying up and stockpiling all low cost armour on the broker so I can gouge when GU38 comes out. Not really, but I bet some low-lifes do.

BTW dont forget you can visit your friendly neighbourhood armour vendor or tailor who sells no-stat armour that was worthless before but might be worth a look in if you want cheap full sets. The guys in Maj Dul have a decent selection.

Yes, finally, useless NPC vendors may actually have a use now.

Nah, I'm sure there will be plenty others running around with it. heheI'm going with the Quellithulian Assassin's armor set (minus the hat in the pic, I HATE most hat graphics) until I can find myself the chest piece for the DFC dropped cloth, "...of the Orclord" armor. It has a unique appearance and goes with my Halloweeny colored Hoo'Lah hat. I've just got to find that stupid chest piece. /sigh

What armor is that purplish looking chain you see the guards in the dlw new newbie area wearing? Saw that the other day and though that would look killer on my dirge or my barb.
It could give the common crafted armor again a market, if the npc vendored none stat armor, would look different or could not be placed into the appearance slots.Since crafters can't compete with the prices these armor costs from the npc's.
