prob was asked before but.

Just finished claymore and was wanting to adorn the mist protector and the claymore rewards with the +mental damage symbol adornment. Can i do this? and would i want to?

Im trying to get respectably dps in raid but have the healer buff aa line and the spell haste and cant seem to break 700dps zone wide. I have problems with the spell haste line becasue sometimes i lag just enough for perpetuality to expire before my next cast goes off. and i tryed the str line and hated it with a pasion. SO would these 2 items adorndend help me out enough to notice. Or do they not effect any of our reactive dmg spells casue SOE is a [Removed for Content].

The Mental damage adornments (with the new LU) actually have a pretty big benefit, as well as the +25 to all spells adornment for gloves, if u get all 3 then its +115 to all ur spells (reactives as well)

i go down the AGI/STR line myself and parse about 1500 ZW (depending on if there r fights that i have to mez or not), with the STR line just make sure u spam sprint to keep power down, as well as using all the mana regen stuff (mana flow on urself, transfer potiential etc.)

I'm running something like +245 spell damage right now and while I'm under 30% power, stroke hits for 900-1100 on the tooltip (crit for over 2k last night). Fun stuff.

The main reason that spell crit is fabled is because of how universal it is. +mental damage really doesn't apply to many classes, but for coercers it ends up being almost the same as universal +spell damage.+45 will give you a much bigger damage bonus than 1% crit chance. If you're int specced, you already have at least 15% crit chance, so an additional 1% wont' even give you a 1% total damage upgrade. The +45 spell damage will probably give you a 4-5% boost, depending on how much +spell damage you already have.
