Wow, Im totally confused as I believed this item called you to your home city's pub(purchased it in Freeport and it sent me to Neriak pub). How could it send you to the village in Loping?

Virulence, There are two steins.

One loot card is the Stein of Recollection that teleports you to a bar in your home city. The other loot card is actually a recipe that allows you to craft 2 Steins of the Alesmith. The Stein of the Alesmith is the one that allows you to teleport to multiple location

Now I can recall to Neriak and port to Loping, which is incredibly handy. This has become my fav. utility item in the game.

-->Im hoping there are lots of bartenders in RoK will to take the 'Alesmith' as well.

You only get one call to bar and both steins work the same and call to the same bind. There is a bar in neriak and south freeport as well.

West Freeport - it calls to the bar back past the epic guard (near the inn).

Two questions:

Can the bind point be set more than once? I've been afraid to set it for fear of being stuck with a bind point I won't need later.

Has anyone tried setting the bind point to an opposing faction city.... or do you just get the "This NPC does not want your business" kind of message when you try?

How do you set it up to bind in say, LP? Just cast it while in zone and talk to bartender? I have stein of recollection but only tried it in my home city of SQ. Didn't realize there was all these other zones that would work!

I'm still wondering if this can be set more than once or is it just a one-shot bind?

you can reset it, I have reset mine a few times already.

and no, you cannot set your bind to the opposing faction cities I tried setting mine in NQ the other day and the bartender wouldnt even acknowledge my presence

This is sweet. I was bound to SQ which is also my Call point but after reading this I changed it to LP successfully. Nothing beats waking up in the graveyard with a hang over and forget how you got there, and where your pants went.....

I just got this card today and crafted 1 stein... so, assuming that since it's lore and the recipe says it creates 2, it's one of those recipes that disappear from your book after making the second? Thanks.

Anyone know if there is a place to bind either of these items in RoK? Mainly, wondering if there is somewhere in fens or KJ.

I have the Stein of Recollection, and it can be reset to bars that allow this..... just speak to the Bartender.

As well, I am currently recalling to the bar in Kunzar's Edge... in a building where the bank is I believe , so there is a handy point to add.

Erithorn
