View Full Version : "You must remove all email from this character" error

<p>I am trying to transfer 2 characters from 2 seperate accounts onto the Vox Exchange server.   It worked fine on my alts, if they had mail I would get a message 'you must remove all email from this character' and once I did, the transfer would go through just fine.    Now,when I try to do this on my mains even though they have no email in game, one has no guild, the house is 100% empty, I get that message every time and it wont let me complete the transfer.</p><p>Any ideas what is making the system think I have mail? There is none, zero in my mailbox.  This is a persistent error for over 12 hours now too.</p><p>Thank you!!</p>

Some things I have triedSigning the character in and out after zoningTrying a new browserCleaning out all cookies etc.Clearing all items from her houseSending a mail to someone else to maybe clear out mailbox blockagesome things about her:she owns a houseshe is not in a guild, just left it and tried again, still did not workthere are a few items in her 'shared' bank areathere are a few items in her bankHer bags are pretty full of junkshe has a few silver on her and in her bankshe is level 39 with soul bound gear onThe other character that is having the same issue on another account is in a guild and a trustee on the houseKeep in mind this service worked just fine for other characters of lower level on my account.Thanks for any  help, this is very frustrating.

How to clear that?</p><p>Also when I sign in and out of my accounts it wont forget the last account and says the characters from the first one. I think it might be the website, how do I get help or get my characters transferred if the website is not functioning properly?</p>

Make sure that there is no mail in the spam tab!

<p>yea there isnt anything and I hit the 'delete all' button in that area like 10 times or maybe more but nothing shows, yet the button does show as active.</p><p>if there is nothing in there can you still push the delete all button? Wondering if some spam is invis or something....</p><p><img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  really upsetting because I already transferred my alts and now I gave away all my money and such on my main but can't finish the process. The only thing I can think of is she has mail as a qeynosian but I cant delete it since I am not over there.  Not sure what to do from this point.</p><p>Is there a place to call or get help on an issue like this? I know in WOW you submit a ticket and have email addys where they help you .</p>

Thanks , Im thinking its mail that was maybe left behind in Qeynos as when you betray I know they send you emails and I always ignored them.

<p>I thought I'd test one of my alts that also betrayed and this one does not get anything about email but gets 'transaction on hold by game'</p><p>Now she has no mail, no house, no guild, nothing unusual.  Just that she once betrayed.</p><p>Anyone from SOE who can give some input as many people are getting this error but noone ever reads or helps out on the Exchange forums (that MIGHT be why those servers are sort of languishing???)</p><p>Thanks in advance for any input.</p>

<p>Ok the fix was to use the email support system which worked fine so far (have one character left to submit a ticket for)</p><p>The issue was indeed ghost emails from when I betrayed so if you are betraying remember to delete all your emails at the end or it might be a big pia later!!!!</p><p>Thanks for the help.</p>
