Map Issue

I dont know if im the only one with this problem, i dont think i am, but from what i've seen its only in the commonlands. i discover portions of it and whatever and i'll log out and come back and it'll be reset and everywhere i've been will be black again. Is there an answer to this issue or would it just be a bug i have to live with?
