Hello,

Today I was in a CMM group that was very mez oriented. Thing is, I forgot I had on Crane Twirl and there was so much battle spam, I did not see the messages that I was breaking mezzes. After a while, the group got pretty [Removed for Content] (understandably), so I took it off. Was still AOEing, then realized I had on 6 pieces of the Wu armor, and the 6 piece bonus includes an AOE attack proc I had never noticed before (/blush). Took THAT off, carefully checked all my equipment/spells, did not see anything that should produce an AOE anywhere. Engage in battle, and WHAM - "Your action wakes up <insert angry mob here>". Needless to say, this group was not happy with me.

But what I am puzzled by is how, after removing everthing obvious that creates AOE attacks, and fastidiously avoiding my AOE spells (I keep them all grouped together on an upper hotbar line so I know when I use them), was I still AOEing? I checked my AA lines, and other than the stuff in the Wiz lines (two spells, one stance, which I was not using), I see no other things I have available to me that cause AOEs. So...

What am I missing here? I am thinking that this might be a bug, where disabling the features that were causing AOEs somehow didn't "take", but that seems like a pretty basic feature to be buggy. Is there some other way for a Monk to AOE? Keep in mind, I was NOT using Crescent Strike, Dragonbreath, Crane Sweep, Crane Flock, Crane Twirl, or Storm Advance. And all the the armor pieces I was wearing that have procs were single target (at least, that's what the text indicates.)

Any ideas about why this was happening would be greatly appreciated - I certainly don't want to be a nuisance to the mezzers in my group.

Thanks!

Hmmm, I may have answered my own question. Just remembered, we were not using a MA - was targetting directly though the tank, so I may have gotten a lick in as the tank switched targets. Can't think of any other way it could have happened.

I think you answered your own question. More then likely you were hitting the mob before anyone else was after the previous one had died.
