My rotting thrall has been an awesome tank but now that I am 52 he is staying at 51. Is there anyway to get him bigger or do I have to use a different pet and which one?

After level 50 your spells dont update. You need to find or buy your spells now. At 52 you get a new pet...Diseased Servant is the spell, I think.

The spell you are after is called Diseased Servant - http://www.eqsummoners.com/eq2/spel...ed-servant.htmlBuy it from your local spell merchant or better yet, go to Maj'Dul and buy it from your local friendly Court (if you have faction with any of the courts there). As has been said, from Level 50 onwards, you do not get any spells awarded for simply making a level. You have to buy them from Level 50 onwards (including Apprentice I/II's).

You really don't want to be making do with Apprentice spells when you can as often as not buy Adepts from a few gold upwards. For all key spells (such as a fighter pet for a solo necro) you really need Adept 111 or Master 1.

Luier, please don't turn this into yet another "you should play Oblivion if you want to solo, grouping is the key to a long and happy life" thread. The guy wasn't asking for advice on playstyle, just on how to upgrade his pet.
