Kind of, more than likey they forgot about us (wouldn't be the first time)

server went down for a "brief patch" at 5:30 pm pacific, that was nearly 3 1/2 hours ago

its still down with no word

unlike live, they keep us pretty clueless and give us no answers when we have extended downtimes

well test is my only server so makes me cry harder!

I see Gnobrin lurking out there on the boards, maybe he can enlighten us...

3 1/2 hours and counting is an awfully long time for a "brief update". If it weren't for the fact that we already have GU38 on test I'd be speculating it was a GU. No clue what's going on and the fact that there is no information whatsoever available is not good...

as far as we know its wasn't a GU, it was suppose to be a "quick" fix but one never knows

I've played test since the day they opened it, even got a character moved there for free. Remember how they did that in the beginning?

Yes, I know it's test but it's always frustrating to be left in the dark as we are now...

Test down = sad

they forgetting about us = "unlady-like words inserted here"

I started on test when they opened and I too had 2 toons moved from live when they offered the free move since test server was late in opening

We don't ask for much. Willingly play where things don't always go smoothly. Take the time to file /bug and /feedback reports.

Would be nice if they'd at least acknowledge that there's some kind of problem and that they didn't just forget us.

I kept hoping things would be improved or we would at least have some comment from SOE when I got up this morning. Such was not the case. Over 14 hours now and nothing but silence from Sony.

It is listed as being down on the server status page. http://eq2players.station.sony.com/...twork_status.vm

Well, at least SOE and the red names on the forums are consistent and I dont get disappointed when they dont even bother to make any attempt at keeping test players informed. I also dont get disappointed when SOE shuts down the server and then doesnt bother to turn it back on again.

Of course, I set my expectations of SOE low enough for that even shortbus people can meet them.

Obviously Test natives (or at least most Test natives) are willing to take all kinds of unexpected downtime and unexpected patching. (And bugs, and whatnot. We're Test. We're there for the Weird Stuff.)It's just that it'd be nice to get some kind of notification or explanation if "brief patch" is going to be two days, especially if those two days are the weekend. I lost from 8:30 last night until *checks* noon today. Bah.

Test is finally up, still no reason ever given for a 15+ hour downtime
