<p>I recently purchased a new computer to replace my old one that died. It has Vista Home premium, is dual core Ath 64, 2Gb memory, and GeForce8500GT video card. Seeming adequate, since it overwhelms my old computer in every spec.</p><p>I now have a showstopper. </p><p> I have two accounts of my own, and access to a friend's account where I use the tailor crafter as needed to make my caster's clothes. Call them account 1, 2, and 3 for ease of discussion.</p><p>I had all 3 accounts working, and could play the characters enough that I knew I'd gotten past most of the Vista problems. I disabled UAC, told the two exe's to run in xp compatibility mode, and as administrator. </p><p> Then, when the launcher says I have additional content (Village of Shin, Splitpaw, Bloodline, etc were on the accounts on the old computer), rather than rejecting it as I had to get things running, I allowed it to try to download. Until this point I was playing without them, just to test the basics. </p><p> The launcher started, got through a couple of downloads, then hangs up. Each time that account is logged in, it always trys to continue the new content download, but hangs at what looks to be the same point each time. It will not progress, and I can never get to the "play" selection. Accounts 2 and 3 still load and run fine. </p><p>Taking a character from account 2 and testing, I find I have Village of Shin downloaded, but not splitpaw. I didn't check bloodline, and can't easily check the alternate voice content.</p><p>Questions: How do I unhang the first account, so I can at least play it? It is my main account, and has my main character and crafters. How do I tell it to stop trying to update? How can I delete the additional content download and just start over? Or how can I get to a full file scan command without having to get the account logged in? Or get to full file scan from one of the working accounts? Is there a file repair capability in the game?</p>
