<p align="left">These happen within seconds of logging in. It happens at character select, if I log in straight to a character it still does it. </p><p align="left">Changing resolution resets it for a few seconds, but then it happens again. WoW, Guild Wars, Civ IV, Lost Planet, Never Winter Nights 2 all play on this system as it is configured now. </p><p align="left">Video drivers were removed and the latest were installed before coming here.</p><p align="left">My next post will contain my DX Diag info, if it will let me post it. I keep getting this error "<b>Your post has exceeded the maximum size (20,480). <p>When I click on your picture links, it will not allow me to view them siting a 403 forbidden error.</p><p>May wanna look in to that.</p>

<p>I had my server set to not allow hotlinking from other sites. It will revert back to allowing it shortly, thanks for pointing it out. You can view them directly in the folder untill then if you wish.</p><p> http://project-shade.com/images/everquest2/</p>

Since the other post I've tried compatibilty mode and run as Admin.

I have this same issue, though I don't understand why so few people are having it.  I am on my third 8800 GTX trying to diagnose this so by this time I figure it isn't a video card issue.It seems to be a Vista and/or driver issue, but with all the fiddling I've done with settings as well as different drivers I haven't managed to figure out how to *not* get this issue.Oddly, on the same system, if I pop in my old 7900 GTX, I don't have the issue.Anyway, I just wanted the OP to know he wasn't alone. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

I had the exact same problem with my computer. Make sure you have 2 power cords from your PS directly to your GPU. That seems to have fixed my problems.
