Application ran out memory limit 2048 m/b

<p>I'm running vista 32 with 4 g/b ram  -yes i know vista doesnt use it all 3.3g to be exact.</p><p>After a while of playing, if i open up LoN client and start resizing the LoN window, my whole EQ2 client will crash with the error :</p><p>Critical Error</p><p>Application ran out of memory when requesting 4239376 bytes (limit 2048 MB)</p><p>after I click yes ok</p><p>another window pops up with the heading:</p><p>Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library</p><p>Runtime Error!</p><p>Program C:Program filesSonyEverquestIIEverquest2.exe</p><p>This application has requested the program to terminate in an unusual way.</p><p>Please contact the Applications support team for more information.</p><p>So here i am contacting you <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>any solutions to this problem ?</p>

Yeah modifying the eq2.exe isnt something im going to do, there should be an official fix

The M$ hotfix however exludes graphics buffer storage from the 2gigs. I never had it happen again with that

<p>yeah ive had that installed for ages kb929777 or something, eq2 still runs out of memory </p><p>edit: ahh nevermind i forgot to install  KB940105 when i reinstalled vista, thanks again <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
