Hi everyone... I now have my Wiz to about lvl 34...over time I have many books drop...I have yet to get one for Wiz. I have had to buy all my spells... Is this just bad luck or what? Heden

Just bad luck.

I've generally only seen book drop for classes I play when I was not playing that class and, more frustrating, when I was on a different server. Just bad luck.

Yes there has been a bug in eq2 since launch that seriously reduces the chance of drops for your class. SOE refuses to address or fix this.

Well not really but I figure it may make you feel better. Just bad luck.

Haha feels like that is the case. I see guardian skills drop all the time now that I am playing a swash.

I recently betrayed my ratonga necromancer to kelethin to be a conjuror. He was lvl 28 when I started and I hadn't seen a single necro spell drop in those levels. After I completed the betrayal and was a conjuror I had two necro adepts drops in the first hour I played. It's just the way it goes.On my main, who's a wizard, I didn't get a wizard spell drop until I was in the mid 20's.Make friends with a sage It's cheaper than buying spells on the broker.

If it makes you feel any better, I just transmuted about 10 Wizzy books ranging from lvl 22 to 35 that I've collected this past week.
