Hello everyone,

I have a Mystic Fae. I don't know why, but instead of being able to swim in a normal manner, I actually sink to the bottom of any river, ocean, etc. and cannot float at the top of the water or swim over the water.

Can anyone advise me as to what causes this, or what I may have done to create this situation? Does anyone know if there any way to fix this?

Most greatfully yours, Mistyeyes

Do you know if you have your enduring breath spell on? If so you might look at the spell closely and see the effects. One of them allows you to swim (over & underwater) without needing to breathe while another cause you to walk on the bottom (like you would on dry land) without needing to breathe.

It's a group buff called Water Spirit, which allows you to breathe, walk and jump in the water. Just turn that off to swim normally (but be sure to cast Enduring breath if you still need to swim under water for a long period of time ). Hope that helps.

Thank you both very much for your quick response. I do believe I have some breathing spell that is constantly on. I will definitely check it, when I come on line tonight to be sure and see what type of description it has.

*Hugs to both of you*

Mistyeyes

It's more than likely that group version of water breathing. I like it. Allows me to jump like the Incredible Hulk.

Yeah, same thing with the floaty boots- you just jump like normal underwater. Kinda weird how they cancel out.

If you can't super-jump underwater, does that mean that you get stuck if you go into deep water? There are a number of places where you can't get out of the water without super-jumping.
