Three boxing

I've seen a lot of posts here and on other forums saying the best 3 box combo with a Swashbuckler was Swashbuckler, Dirge, Warden.Why a Dirge? I used to 3 box a Guardian, Templar, Illusionist. I now 2 box a Swashbuckler, Warden and am thinking of adding a third bow soon.I always have my second and third characters be ranged. Any other boxers out there know why you would want a Dirge? Aren't Dirges melee?I'd be interested in hearing any other tips from multi boxers also.Thanks

The Dirge would pretty much be used as a buff-bot. +DPS, Power and Health regen, increased crit chance, +combat and defense skills, run speed, COB--the list goes on. Basically, it wouldn't necessarily be the most active part, but it would make the other 2, particularly, in this case, the Swash, MUCH better.

<p>The dirge would basically just be a buff bot unless you feel like autoattacking or using some ca's while the swashbucklers are on cool down.</p><p>I two box (well run both accounts on 1 pc) a swashbuckler and a warden and if I was to go with a third toon it would be a dirge.</p><p>The dirge adds a few nice group buffs which help the swashbuckler and warden.</p><p>Str/Agi buff, dps buff, parry skill, power regen, crit chance increase, percussion of stone for a damage shield proc, and tomb's calm for a disease damage proc.</p><p>A couple of other things a dirge adds is a spot heal and a rez if things get really bad or if the healer gets dropped by an add. Also there is CoB which adds a nice amount of damage for a short time.</p><p>The warden makes a good afk healer with spores for a reactive heal, a stun heal, the healing tree, HOT's, plus adds some mit and health, spikes for added damage, some offensive skill buffs, and if melee specced a heal proc while autoattacking.</p>

<p> I two box a Swashy and a Templar both level 70's, I do have a 50 Fury that I two box with my swashy also. I do it on two seperate computers, If I wanted to I could do a 3 box with my lap top or my old P4 3ghz machine. I can see why people would use a dirge to 3 box as it gets tough for me to use all the skillsspells for 2 characters, let alone 3 so just using it as a buff bot and maybe hitting auto attack would be about all you could hope for. I am sure there are probably some gaming keyboards that would make boxing easier so you could assign more hot keys.</p><p>  The templar/swash combo works pretty well in that the templar can keep the swashy healed well and has some ok debuffs that help with swashy, now damage wise the Templar sort of sucks. Even though my Templar has masters for all his damage spells and I went down the line that increases damage 25% and the line that speeds up the casting times and reduces mana cost for the damage spells, my Templar still only makes up 25% of the damage. Spell wise my templar is pretty good, his equipment is mostly just legendary with a few fabled pieces though. </p><p>  I have thought  about adding a 3rd, but just don't know how much more useful it would be do to the limitations of controlling 3 characters at once.</p><p>Callus</p>

Would a Swashy, Dirge, Warden three box be so much better than a Swashy, Illusionist, Warden three box?I have a Illusionist already my level I could three box with or I can level a Dirge if a Dirge would be a big improvement over an Illusionist.Thanks,

i 2 box swash/dirge and have absolutely no trouble ripping things apart, fights are fast paced and destructive, add a coB macro in there it becomes even better

<p>I 3 box with a swashy as well, but i went a diffrent route i wanted max destruction so i went fury/warlock/swashy. Im am at lvl 53 and 55 aa's.   I tank specked my swashy maxing out the STA line and then as much of the STR line as i could.  Then i DPS specd my fury, i figure if i can burn down the mobs faster i wont have to heal as much. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> DEAD MOBS DONT DO DAMAGE TO ME. And then my warlock i went explosions and AGI.  this group set up has been the fastest lvling ive ever played. And there gear is easy to comeby as cloth and leather is super cheap to get compared to chain or plate.  just my to C's.</p>
