Gambling?

I came across some sort of gambling game at the docks in TS, but couldn't figure out what to do to start playing it. Is this something that once existed that they took out? If not, can anyone tell me about this game? Thanks.

Click on the goblin. There is a window that comes up. Click on Play? It costs you 10 silver per play. There should be a book next to him. That will show you the payouts.

As the poster before me mentioned, click on the book then click on the goblin.  Take note that they are only active on servers that are not a part of the Station Exchange.  Station Exchange servers cannot provide gambling for plat since the plat can be sold for real currency.

<p>Not to get off of the original topic or anything but what the heck happened to all of the moola that was in the jackpot.  I played by tush off and then took a break for a week.  When i returned the massive amount of Plat etc that was in the jackpot spot was blank.  The jackpot winner did not change from what i noticed.  Is it/was it Broken?  Goblin Hijacking?  I always said that the gobbies were gonna run away with the jackpot one of these days but i didnt think they would actually do it!</p><p>If it has to do with the fact that the jackpot COULD be sold for RL money - well - technically anything in game could be sold for RL money.  Characters, items, etc... so i dont think they should take it away from the people that could and most def would put it to good use!</p>

I've noticed how any mention of the disappearing massive jackpot on the gambler results in sudden, deafening silence.  If anyone has an answer to the above poster's question, please do tell.  I too wasted tons of time and cash on the hopes of winning that jackpot...then one day it disappeared from the book, but apparently no one won it.  This was quite a while ago and personally, I think we should all get our money back, since the goblin apparently made off with the loot.

<p>The Splitpaw Jackpot is getting bigger and bigger and its been the same obscure name for the last winner for as long as I can remember and his/her/robot's jackpot was nowhere near what it is at now.</p><p>As to whether or not 6 Green Numbers will EVER show for a Real Live Player - time will tell.</p>

On Station Exchange it is allowed. So technically, you would gamble with tokens that you can exchange to RL money. This would be considered REAL gambling, so the one running it needs to have a license (or something like that).

Here is the closest ive gotten to reaching the jackpot...
