Splitpaw questions

I bought splitpaw, now what? Is the adventure pack automatically patched in when I log into eq2? If not, where do I go the DL it? I didn't see anywhere at the splitpaw site. I noticed upon entering the game, there were files being dled so I figured it's the Splitpaw pack. However, when I went to what I believe to be an entrance to sundered splitpaw, it tells me I do not meet the requirements. What is this referring to? Me not having the pack, or is it something to do with the blue shards laying around? If shards, what all do I need to do to get one so I can enter? Thanks.
