suggestion: reward metoring

<p>Hi,</p><p>i think it would be a good idea to have some kind of reward for people regularily mentoring others. I'm thinking about something like special exp you only get when mentoring. </p><p>I don't think it would be a good idea to give "real" abilities for mentoring (like a new powerful damage spell). This would change mentoring into some kind of alternative character advancement and one would have to mentor in order to max out his or her character (bad idea!).  </p><p>But it would be fun to get certain titles, fun spells, stuff for your room, etc.</p><p>It would also be something the max lvl-crowd could strife for 'till the next expansion - some kind of motivation to keep playing your main and group up with lower lvls. </p><p>I believe the higher the lvl cap goes, the more important it becomes to get the max lvl characters to mix with new players. And I think it would be nice for the higher lvls to have something to strife for while doing this.</p><p>Demian</p><p>  </p>

No needI often find that when I mentor somebody I lose 50% of my xp, however my vitality rises enough to earn double xp.  So i'm earning 50% of double XP or (to put it another way) standard xp.My mystic has levelled from 40-50 mostly while mentoring my g/f's Illusionist who is around 10 levels lower (but slowly catching up).I actually find that it's easier to earn xp this way than finding an appropriate level 50 group.

Nay, no reward is needed....I see already the persons who will be mentoring for these rewards you suggest. I think we don't need that.One of the reasons to mentor is to help someone.... there should be no reward needed for helping someone. If you mentor to do quests that normally are gray to you, you are rewarded enough by the quest-reward. And if you mentor down to be with people you like, that should be reward enough as well.At least that is the way I look at it.Femke.
