So, I was wondering about this while considering the betrayal aspects of the game -

When you betray all your spells are dropped to the "new class" App I versions. Is there a game breaking reason why your spell upgrades cant be popped off and placed in your inventory when you finish the betrayal? After all, they started out as scrolls you scribe why cant they be returned as such in the event you want to (a) return to this class by betraying again or (b) sell them in hopes of obtaining the spell upgrades for the class you just betrayed to?

As a quest monger I would love to betray my primary toon at some point and do all the evil side quests and experience that as well but the thought of losing all my spell upgrades permanently (insert here - what if I dont really like the class I betrayed to and want to betray back?)

Thoughts?

There is a cost to betraying. It's not something meant to be done casually or lightly.

Yeah man that's the penalty for betraying. You lose all your spells and have to replace them with more powerful versions again, even if you stay the same class.
