I pre-ordered my box copy of Rise of Kunark just the other day at a local game-stop, put the money down, and asked the date it's supposed to arrive. They informed me that it will get into the store 11/14.But wait... isn't the release date 11/13?Checked Best Buy.. arrives 11/14Checked Circuit City.. arrives 11/14Checked EB Games... 11/14Comp USA.. 11/14Seeing a pattern here?So those of us who order box sets are going to have to wait a day to play and/or upgrade to the expansion?

Except they said it's release date is November 14th just like EoF... not 13th

At least you CAN pre-order. It seems anything outside the US can't (or at least I can't). *holds up her bring pre-orders to Canada petition sign*

But anyway...back on topic. The game site on the main EQ2 page says November 13th but that thing hasn't been updated for months. Either way...wether it's the 13th or the 14th doesn't matter too much to me. Heh they chould realistically change it anytime they want afterall.

The servers are normally down most of the day. To the person who said it wasn't announced the 13th, you are wrong. Whether they have officially changed it to the 14th I don't know, but it WAS said to be the 13th. I just checked the website and the FAQ still says the 13th.

Thats what I do everytime, have not had any issues. I have a small download to get the patcher information stuff on to the C drive but besides that it is fine.

1) What's a days wait? It won't kill you.

2) You won't be the only one missing out...some people won't even get 'til weeks or months after.

3) It's pathetic to me when people think they NEED something the specific day it comes out. That's oftent he WORST day to get most things.

So calm down. =

Well.. I for one do have friends that are hoping to patch the game on release day, log in, and go exploring on day one It would be awesome to be able to tag along with them. Hence the dissapointment.

I've never gotten an expansion on time where I live, here in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. If it comes out on a Tuesday, we are lucky to get it the Friday of that week. With EoF, it took 2 weeks before they got it in.

Luckily we have two accounts a piece, so one account each will get the digital download and the others will wait for the box.
