Heritage Quest: The Return Of The Light

<p><b><span style="font-size: small;font-family: verdana,geneva;">Ok, I've tried searching the forums and most of the posts either just briefly mention it in passing, or quickly go off topic.  I was wondering if people could give me an idea of how hard this quest is as of right now?</span></b></p><p><b></b></p><p><b><span style="font-size: small;">I know it used to be Epic, and apparently now it is just Heroic?  It's green to me right now (L28 Brigand), and I would really like to complete it before it goes grey.  </span></b></p><p><b><span style="font-size: small;">So I'm looking for up to date information on this quest's current setup.</span></b></p><p><b></b></p><p><b><span style="font-size: small;">Thanks.</span></b></p>

You will be able to solo the whole quest, until the final named in Bloodskull Valley. You'll probably need a group, or a couple of high levels mentoring you

We are attempting this last part of the quest within the next couple of days.  We tried lastnight; first with both of our low to mid lvl 20ish toons, then with a lvl 54 Mystic mentoring a lvl 26 Warden.  We died and fast both times.  We definitely need more for this!  Anyone who is on this part of the quest and would like to group please let us know!  We are on every evening from about 5:30-10 CST M-F and always, all the time, all day weekends!  We are on the Bazaar server.  Come on Guys let's kill General Drull together and get our SP's!

Drull doesn't show his face until after the 3rd or 4th wave of mobs. Each wave was 3 or 4 encounters of about 3 level 20-ish mobs (I think) each and they absolutely swarm you on sight. I'd drag some extra muscle or AoE firepower in there if I were you.

<p>hint: </p><p>once in the instance the general spawns in, there is a orc right at the start that will try to run away.... you should kill that guy asap, that way you dont get rushed by all the mobs at once but can do them one by one.</p>

<p>Just curious at what level have people been able to solo the final battle?</p><p>I'm a 48th Ranger.  I was able to kill one or two Orcs by kiting them around.  But the dots and the odd hit here or there, knock me down pretty quick on the health meter.</p><p>I think I'll try again at 50.</p>
