I think Tunare is the god to be for a good sided Fury, but for personal fun (it is a game after all), I am planning on switching dieties. Anyone done an indepth look at the dieties that can suggest what I will lose giving up Tunare (besides my sweet faithful bear I adore) so that I can try tweaking things to try and make up for it.

I'm considering switching to Sol Ro, just for Wrath of the Burning Prince. Energy Vortex, Wrath, Starnova...wheeeeee

I switched to Sol Ro to get the cloak for extra damage when I'm soloing and big nukes are fun to play with. He's pretty fun but tends to get sulky when you attack his avatar hehe. Currently have Quelleous, he's got a nice +28 wis pet (looks like a giant ghostly moth) and some extra power miracles etc. Quelleous is a very easy soloable quest line, Sol Ro is a little harder.

Karana will be one of the new gods in ROK. I'm probably going to switch then. For those that didn't play EQ1, He is the God of Storms and was the other god for Druids and Rangers. I wouldn't be surprised to see Wis/Int on the god pet and a nice mix of healing and offensive abilities.

I'm going to be switching to Sol Ro soon for the cloak and Incinerate (for raids), but I too have been considering going the Karana route after RoK. Depends on how the abilities and such on shake out.As for what you'll be losing by ditching Tunare: any favor you've built up, which you can't get back if you switch back to Tunare later. A little bit of WIS from the pet, but nothing you can't make up with one adornment or a new piece of gear. A couple of blessings and miracles that boost your healing ability. If you raid, you'll no longer have the invaluable Grove's Entanglement, but I usually let our other healers do that anyway. Beyond that you can still use the cloak if you want to boost your healing.

I can't rememebr the description on the cloaks (at work now), but can you still use the old ones after you've switched?

Yes, you can. Some people have gone through every god they have the ability to take just for the collection of cloaks.
