The best dps in the raids I have joined have allways been lvl 70 Swashbucklers. Lvl 70 Wizards, Warlocks, Necromansers and Conjurors have no chances to out-dps a Swashbuckler. I will start to level up a Swashbuckler now, and I hope he can reach lvl 70 within November 13. 2007.

Before I start I wanna ask. Is there any chance that Swashbucklers will be nerfed when the new expansion comes out November 13. 2007? I hope not.

Swashy dps is good but by no means over powered, if the "Lvl 70 Wizards, Warlocks, Necromansers and Conjurors have no chances to out-dps a Swashbuckler" that you've been raiding with it's then a short between their chairs and keyboards (ie. they need to learn thier classes, upgrade their spells and equipment etc), Swashy's are where they need to be.

to the OP:The problem you're going to run into is that you can't pick swashie to start, since you're very obviously a Troll.

Whether it's in a group or a raid, it isn't our DPS that makes us shine. It's our debuffs. We make it easier for other dps classes to do damage. Rangers, warlock, wizards, necros, or what have you, will not do optimal dps w/out a brigand and/or swashbuckler around. As for the notion of being the best ... I'd say we're the most well-rounded. Our dps certainly doesn't even come close to that of wizards or rangers, but we can take beatings that would leave both of them in a bleeding pile on the ground.

Me sad...

My debuff snare reduces the mobs mitigation down by a considerable amount vs. magical damage Now the dps casters beat me by long shots as oppose to small margins.

It sucks to be a swashbuckler...

A 3+ minute fight would smooth that DPS spike out considerably.
