Guessing you already have all your class set pieces at this point.

To be honest, I've found that the easiest way to have resist gear is to find a jeweler (or make one) and go harvesting your rares to save money. Admittedly though, sometimes its just easier to farm cash and buy them.

However, having the best resists (8k+) will probably mean you're going to be out raiding and hoping for drops. That's the gist I've gotten from the players I've talked with. No drop stuff usually.

-J

I think you may have trouble getting to 8k+ resists solo in every category at the same time if you are limited to mastercrafted and collection/quested gear.

Even the best in class for swashbucklers only average 5k to 6k. In groups you could probably do it with the right EoF fabled gear. With a full set of EoF fabled class armor you can get to 8k+ easily for magic and poison (about 5.5k each just from the armor) while the rest of the resists come to 2.5k to 2.8k just from the armor.

For collections check out this thread for the quest rewards, some of the EoF collections give jewelery with nice resists.

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=351645

The KoS raid zones have some no-trade jewelery with nice resists and pickup raids can clear them without too much trouble.

Otherwise there is some of the reqards from Claymore such as the Dragonscale Ring/Earring with about 500 to each resist, the Light Chitin Ring from Den in Bonemire, Feathered Ring from the Palace of the Awakened in Barren Sky.

I don't have great gear so what I do is carry a lot of different equipment on raids and swap gear as needed to get specific resists up to 6.5k (solo) for named fights so with group buffs I'm at about 8k on some resists. I loose some dps but survive the fights and don't tax the healers as much. I'll also use ward potions sometimes to get a 900 point damage shield up if I'm expecting a direct damage ae.
