I am very much looking forward to this new feature as I really like the Cobalt Vanguard armor look for my Shadowknight until I get something better looking. So if the feature will go live with the restriction that I can't equip anything else then Plate in my fluff slots I will still be happy. But it leaves a lot of others most unhappy and I understand that devs/players also want to keep the look of the classes true to a vision, while others want full freedom to be a plate tank in a robe or whatever they choose.Restrictions or total freedom, I'll be happy either way. But perhaps there is a third path.

Cloth wearers can wear cloth + leather.

Leather wearers can wear leather + chain.

Chain wearers can wear chain + leather.

Plate wearers can wear plate + chain.

Many scouts who are chain wearers might like a leather look for roleplaying or pure fashion but wont be able to use plate which might break the general idea of what a scout class is (and allowed to wear in most rpgs). There might be some armor/clothing in the game that should be free for all, like perhaps the Pirate boots if they are cloth, which I assume swashbucklers would like to use very much. This third way adds more freedom and keeps the look of the game more true to what people aspect classes to be able to wear or not.Squeek!!

Firs off, I'd rather see leather go into cloth than chain. It makes more sense that way. Second, Rothgar talks about the "shaft factor" here. That is the thread where your comments and suggestions need to go as that is the thread that he has stated he will be reading (hence why the thread is now nearing 40 pages long).

Oops! Thank you Didn't see that the devs were posting on the issue, guess I missed it in the dev tracker.Looks like they have already been thinking about what I posted here in some shape.Time will tell...
