Okay, was playing in mistmoore inner sanctum, when suddenly my entire computer just seems to stutter really badly (sound goes into a short infinite loop, mouse updating on screen ever 4 seconds), so I give up and reset my computer. Now, every time I start everquest 2, I get an "EQ2 Client application has stopped working" pop up. I've run a full file scan, and it hit no files. 1. your sound card drivers are out of date, check with the MB manufacturer to see if there is any newer2. How are you starting the game - what compatiblity settings are starting the game with?3. what is your memory configuration - trying to figure out the stick combination for 2814

Regardless:1. I let it check for drivers for my sound card, and it told me they were up to date. I don't recall the brand, or I would check to see if they have some avaliable.2. I'm simply running it through the patcher. I've tried the direct program, but this has the same issue. I've also ran it as both admin, and in compatibility move (xp sp2), and both at the same time, no difference.3. I'm not sure, it's been a while since I've messed around under the hood. I remember that I have 4gbs in there, but other than that I don't recall.EDITWell, after a lot of frustration, I decide I'll clean out my eq2 folder, uninstall and start fresh. Guess what? When I run the install program from my original EQ2 cd, it gives the same error.Editx2I installed it through the downloadable client, and still, same error, so I guess somethings gone bad. I did install the most up to date drivers for my motherboard and video card (using on board sound for the driver question earlier) and that not only didn't fix it, but made many things worse, and other programs stopped fuctioning, so I did a system restore.

Hey there i'm having the exact same problem however I can atleast get into the game for about 15-20 min then I get this error.
