A guildmate of mine logged on after the fiasco the other day to the following:

First of all, he has a 70 ranger and a 70 guardian on the same account.

He logs in after all the problems the other day and:

1. His ranger has no armor, no bags in inventory, nothing (completely naked)

2. He logs onto his guardian to find that his guardian is now a level 70 ranger....

3. His "former" guardian is wearing half plate guardian gear and from the waist down, chain ranger gear...

4. This former guardian also has all of the guardian CA's AND the ranger CA's on ONE character.

5. His guardian/ranger has all of his actual ranger's bags

Here is the problem....he has petitioned this THREE times since then and has recieved a stock answer of "we're sorry, we cannot reimurse you for items lost from the rollback"

Ummmm.....(restraining myself from being extremely insulting at this point)....did they even read the petition? Or did they assume that he was just trying to get armor back that he won after the patch, but lost in the rollback?

This is a SERIOUS issue. Obviously, his Guardian is now a combination of both characters and his ranger lost everything to the guardian.

How does he get someone to listen to him? He was extremely patient at first but after hearing they can't help him for the 3rd time, he's very upset and I feel bad for him. This is obviously not an issue of losing something in the rollback. His characters are severly messed up.

I'm hoping for some advice here because I really want to help the guy and Sony doesn't seem to be listening or care what has happened to him.

Thanks in advance

PS. what I'm looking for is some venue other than petitioning that he can use to reach someone who might know that what he's talking about is serious and has nothing to do with losing an item to a rollback

Have him request that the petition be escalated to a lead. And have him make sure to be clear in the petition that the equipment wasn't lost, it got shuffled to his guardian by the bug and the rollback hasn't corrected the problem. Note: getting irate won't help, and it'll make any explanations less likely to be clear and coherent.

What was he listing the petition under?
