I normally cast Ancestry on myself, but didn't feel like I was getting the effects I thought I should. So I decided to count procs in a few logs. While I was at it noticed a couple other things.Various notes below but conclusions:Seems Forest Spirit god ability from Tunare is pretty much worthless for a heal specced, raid/group mystic.Seems that mystic debuffs do not trigger “hostile spell” triggers at all. So for a healing mystic that only uses dots and CA’s in easy going groups and solo, and sticks with wards/heals/debuffs in hard content these items have no benefit.Other than that beneficial, and heal spell proc rates seem to come close to matching the ancestry modified descriptions.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Marr’s Blessing of Renewal is bestowed upon the groupOccurs 31 times in 7:58 of battle (3:53+1:27+1:07+1:02+0:29)Of those occurances only one actually cured an effect, this is fighting groups of vamps in the sage room, I find it hard to believe we were keeping up with effects such that only 1 in 31 times was there something that needed to be cured on the target. Its odd that the message says group, because the description on the item refers to benefits to target or caster only. The one effect removed was on a group member that probably wasn’t targeted, but the cast that triggered was a group ward. The Arm of Erollisi:When target casts a beneficial spell this spell has a chance to cast Marr’s Blessing of Renewal on target of spell cast. This effect will trigger an average of 2.2 times per minute. Dispels 80 hostile levels of any hostile effects on the target. When target casts a beneficial spell this spell has a chance to cast Marr’s Blessing of Renweal on the caster. Lasts for 30 seconds. This effect will tigger an average of 2.4 times per minute. Increases the heal or ward amount of casters next beneficial spell by 20%.2.2 rate for 8min = 182.4 rate for 8min = 20So this should have procced 38 times and procced 31 times instead. I suppose that’s not too far off, though I wish the two different procs had different names so could distinguish wich was procing.-------------------------------------------------------------------------You are overcome by a wave of healing energyOccurs 20 times in 7:58 of battle (3:53+1:27+1:07+1:02+0:29)Mystical Orb of the HealerWhen Equipped, When target casts a healing spell this spell has a chance to cast Healing Wave on the target of the spell cast. This effect will trigger an average of 2.2 times per minute. Heals group members for 174-255.2.2*8 = 18 so 20 times seems reasonable.----------------------------------------------------------------------------A Blessing of Focus restores a portion of your power.Occurs 10 times in 7:58 of battle (3:53+1:27+1:07+1:02+0:29)Scintillating Focus of the Pontif, when equipped, when target casts a healing spell has a chance to cast Blessing of Focus on the caster, this effect will trigger an average of 1.4 times per minute, increases power of caster by 85. 1.4* 8 = 11 so 10 occurances seems reasonable.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Forest Spirit2 battles: in the sage room for 3:53duration: 0 heal per second, 15 dps. at Lord Veym in Labs: Lord Veym ripostes and kills the spirit in 10 seconds. On a successful hostile spell this spell has a chance to cast Natures Touch on the caster. Lasts for 6.0 seconds. This effect will trigger an average of 1.4 times per minute. Heals group members for 298-440. Heals group members for 155-227 every 3 seconds.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------V’Ncenzi’s Voluminous CapeWhatever message might be occurred 0 times in 7:58 of battle (3:53+1:27+1:07+1:02+0:29)When equipped:On a successful hostile spell this spell has a chance to cast Mistmoore Sage’s Absorption on the target of spell. This effect will trigger an average of 2.2 times per minute. Decreases power of target by 261, increases power of caster by 219.I would have thought mystic debuffs would count as hostile spells, but apparently not. as they seem to neither trigger Forest spirit nor the Cape, bah knew I should have let the conj have the cape.
