In EQ1, it was a veteran's reward to have a Bristlebane like Jester follow you around for a while and it even casted spells. :p

Adding Bristlebane is great!

Only have one minor comment..the character I picked out to worship him is only in his mid 30's...was going to kind of PL him so he could do the first three diety quests and get his pets.

But, I looked up Bristlebane on eq2.wikia.com, and it looks like one can't get the diety pet until the 5th quest..yet most or all the other dieties are 3rd quest (at least all the others I've ever done, I haven't done nor researched all the dieties in game questwise)

Minor complaint, but guess I'm asking, assuming a developer reads this at all, why the difference?

(And before someone says "Oh, pick one of your level 70's to do it", I'm on a RP server, I'm not a heavy RPer but I at least like to make somewhat logical reasons for picking a diety, including RP ones. :p None of my tier 7 characters would pick Bristlebane really)

That Bristlebane, such a prankster psyching us into thinking we'd get a pet on the third quest like that.......
